Carmelo Anthony. 10X all star, scoring champ, future Hall of Famer. So why is he always in trade rumors? The 32 year old small forward hasn't been given the talent needed to win the past 4 years under team president Phil Jackson. Prior to that, Melo made the playoffs with the Knicks every year he was here. It's clear Jackson wants to move Melo, as he already tried to during the trade deadline in February (Love for Melo). And he said during his interview that he thinks Melo is "better off somewhere else." Now, Melo has the no-trade clause, he can basically tell Phil to sit down. But at the end of the day, wouldn't you rather see Melo win? His best chance at this point I believe is the Clippers. They lack a small forward, and have 3 other all stars to compliment Melo. The Knicks will start looking towards the future, after finding both Porzingis and Willy. It's best for both sides to split, so let's see what happens this summer.
